The release date for Elden Ring’s first expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, may have possibly been leaked through a gaming retailer’s page Come from Sports betting site VPbet . The page has since been taken down, but not before screenshots were taken of it.
A gaming retailer in the Philippines called Datablitz had a page for a third-party Elden Ring-themed controller and it mentioned it was a collaboration between Bandai Namco and Thrustmaster. However, what’s interesting is that the page seemingly said the controller is available in February 2024 in order to “sync with the new Shadow of the Erdtree expansion release.”
There may be additional collaborations in the future as well, including Malenia and Ranni-themed controllers. There’s a note that says the designs’ releases are to be “synchronized with 2025 Elden Ring major keybeat or new game expansion.” This suggests that Shadow of the Erdtree won’t be the only expansion Elden Ring could be getting.
